The library is a great place to look for local history books focusing on stories about people, businesses, schools, churches and other organizations that built and inhabited a community. These stories, often recounted by early settlers and their descendants, can be invaluable sources of information for family history researchers. Material consists of books, microforms, periodicals, a subscription to Ancestry.com. We also have a section of our reference library circulating through the Grande Prairie Public Library and is available through interlibrary loans. |
